This group is all about learning hands-on sewing skills in a relaxed, supportive environment. Bring something along that you want to mend, alter, or make – whether it's a pair of trousers that need taking up, a dress that needs taking in, or a project you've been meaning to start.
We'll focus on problem-solving as well as sewing, helping you figure out what to do and how to do it. This group is especially suited to beginners You will need to know the basics of how to use a sewing machine, but no other skills are needed. (If you are a total machine novice, you may want to consider taking my “complete beginner’s guide to machine sewing” class first).
The sessions will be guided by you and what you want to learn. Come with a project, leave with new skills.
